104's Dino Museum

Our Drama area has once again transformed! Take a look at our new dinosaur museum - "104's Dino Museum."   Students have been enthusiastic and engaged while helping think and make each of the different components!

If you are looking for something to do with your family one weekend or over the March Break the Royal Ontario Museum is hosting a special dinosaur exhibit until March 17 - "Ultimate Dinosaurs: Giants from Gondwana!"  http://www.rom.on.ca/dinos/

Mrs. Taebpour and the students created this diarama of a Dinoland!  Students also created signs to tell museum visitors what they could and could not touch.

D.M. holds the clipboard as the Museum Expert.
Students have created Dino tickets so museum guests can pay for a ticket and then enter the museum.
We have six different roles for the students to use their imagination and become... the 'Museum Expert,' 'Cashier',  three 'Museum Visitors' and a 'Caretaker/Helper.'
These dino's have been a big hit in our museum and even make sounds and move!   THANKS MRS. LEGROS!

A lot of wondering happening, after constructing a dinosaur puzzle.

100 Days!

In Motion!

We’re in Motion at RHPS!
Get rid of those winter blahs and enjoy a winter walk to school.  This Wednesday, February 6th marks National Walk to School Day. We are encouraging all students, families and staff to walk to school.
Families and staff that must drive, are encouraged to park and walk a block to the school (the school lot will be open to those families that need access to the lot for accessibility reasons).  We are looking forward to celebrating with everyone on Wednesday! Tables will be set up in the front and back of the school where we will be distributing nutritious apples!

School Newsletter
Have you signed up to be on the RHPS mailing list? As an Eco School, we will not be sending home paper copies of newsletters to students in an effort to reduce waste.  Please click on this link, to sign up!
